About ERMS
East Richland Middle School in Olney, IL is a 6th through 8th grade middle school that houses 440-450 students in newly remodeled, state of the art building. Our staff consists of thirty teachers and four aides that work directly with students, giving us a student to staff ratio of 13:1. Add to that a full time counselor, nurse, and principal and you get a highly qualified staff that is dedicated to knowing and understanding every student that comes through the door.
ERMS offers a high number of extra-curricular clubs, activities, and sports including an after school program that runs until 5:30 and is staffed by our very own teachers. All of this is intended to provide a learning environment, community atmosphere, and a home for all students.
Our Mission is to STRETCH the MIND, STRENGTHEN the BODY, and SHOW the SPIRIT!
And the Vision we all share is to be a place where students are EMPOWERED to LEARN, GROW, and UNITE for the purpose of becoming TOMORROWʼS LEADERS.
