1:1 iPad Grant
In February 2011, East Richland Middle School was awarded a 1:1 Technology Grant through the State of Illinois, with the intended purpose of issuing Apple iPad 2 mobile devices to our faculty and students. In October 2011, ERMS officially became a 1:1 School when we completed the deploymeny of nearly 450 iPad 2s to our student body.
These devices are used during the school day to enhance instruction, increase student engagement, and implement project-based learning throughout the school. We are excited about the opportunities forlearning that this grant has already created and will create in the future for our students and teachers.
