Internet/Social Media Assemblies
On January 13th, ERMS students had the privilege of listening to Brent Maguire of Techno Armor Consulting talk about Internet and social media safety. Mr. Maguire is a former police officer with special training in the investigation of online crimes; his speciality is getting students to evaluate their online life and think twice about the information they are putting out there for the entire world to see.We encourage all parents and guardians to talk with their children about Facebook and other online sites and to be aware of what they are doing online. Remember that being an AITR (Adult in the Room) is not a bad thing; in fact, it's the only way to really know what your child is doing online.
